This Ring is a homage to the singer/songwriter Tarkan. He has a huge fan base in Turkey and is known as the Prince of Pop.
Following the release of his singles "Simarik", "Sikdim", "Bu Gece" and album entitled "Tarkan" in Europe in 1999, he now has a growing fan base outside of Turkey.
His most famous song is "Simarik", which is also known as the "Kiss Kiss" song. An English version was sung by Holly Valance which topped the UK charts, but it has also been covered by many other artists across the world.
