Oktoberfest began in 1810 as a royal Bavarian wedding party. It has since become the largest secular celebration on earth, attracting millions of participants annually. Eating, drinking, and dancing feature prominently in the festivities. The Chico Bavarian Band
We are a traditional 20-piece Bavarian band from northern California; the band has been together for over 30 years, and plays for Oktoberfests, parades, and festivals; we were the first American band to be allowed to march in the Munich Oktoberfest Parade (1997).
